A letter, two years in the making

Dear Teacher

๐Ÿค

People often say that writing a simple "thank you" letter is easy. Maybe it is โ€” when it's just a few formal words. Those letters may sound polite and beautiful, yet they rarely stay in someone's heart. I don't want mine to be one of them. I hope these words will remain in your memory, because this is much more than a letter of gratitude from a student. ๐Ÿค

You have influenced my life in ways you may never realize. And I'm not speaking only about English. During one of the most important periods of my life, you became someone I deeply admired and wanted to learn from. ๐ŸŒท

Watching you taught me something far greater than grammar or vocabulary. I learned that dreams are achieved not simply through hard work or endless hours with books, but by making them your highest priority. Once a goal truly comes first, everything else naturally falls into place. โœจ

If another teacher had been standing in front of the classroom, I honestly believe I would have given up long ago. Instead, I reached a level I had never imagined for myself. What once was only a hobby slowly became an inseparable part of my life. ๐Ÿ“šโค๏ธ

Before joining your course, I truly believed I was already close to my dream. Looking back now, I realize I had only taken the very first step. Every lesson opened my eyes to how much more there was to discover, and that realization never discouraged me โ€” it inspired me. ๐ŸŒฑ

The Path So Far
Pre-Intermediate
would've driven me crazy without your encouragement
Upper-Intermediate
improved my English, and saw how much more there was to learn
Advanced
stayed for the teacher, not the level

One thing I'll never forget is that I never felt like a stranger in your class. You always made me feel that I belonged, and that meant more than you could possibly know. ๐Ÿค

There is one more confession I'd like to make. I joined the Advanced course not because of the level itself, but because I knew that as long you were my teacher, I would continue growing. Whether I wanted to or not, you always pushed me to become a better version of myself. ๐ŸŒŸ

Perhaps relying on someone as a source of motivation isn't always considered the right thing. But for the past two years, you have been exactly that for me. Every achievement I've made in English carries a part of your effort, your patience, and your belief in me. ๐Ÿ’™

I am deeply grateful for everything you have done. In Shaa Allah, one day I'll be able to express my gratitude not only through words, but through my own achievements.

Thank you for changing not only my English, but also the way I look at my future. ๐ŸŒน

With all my respect and endless gratitude,

๐Ÿค Your Selbi
